There are certain advantages and unique features on Transactional SMS which is not available on Promotional Bulk SMS. Six Character Sender Id. i.e) LM- PMCRKL, MD-ICICIB, DD-HDFCBA, etc The message can deliver on DND & Non-DND .The message gets delivered instantly in microseconds without any delay.
IWhat is Spam Messages on Transactional Bulk SMS?
Without getting any prior template or sender id approval, if there is any message send via Transcational Route the credit will get deducted and the message will struck in outbox itself. Though it can be the valid transactional message if there is any template or sender id is NOT approved it becomes spam message.
Can we send Promotional Bulk SMS to DND Numbers?
No, you cannot send any kind of Promotional Bulk SMS to DND (Do Not Disturb) numbers. It´s the strict Govt. (TRAI) rule that any promotional sms can´t be send it to any DND Numbers. Though the customers are opted for your product or services, you can´t send any promotional sms to them.
What are the features of the Promotional Bulk SMS?
As per the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) Rule, the Promotional Bulk SMS can be delivered ONLY on NON-DND Numbers. There is the concept called NCPR (National Don´t Call Registry) Registry in which the TRAI maintains the list of DND Numbers.
